Yoga TTC

Serra Sagra’s mission with YogaKioo is to go beyond standards and improve the quality of teacher training with its active 280 hours and 300 hours intensive and detailed program to train knowledgeable teachers.

Yoga is a journey towards to inner self. Therefore yoga is for everyone. How you perform asanas doesn’t matter. What matters is to perform them with awareness. We do and think thousands of things every day. How much of them are we aware of? The mind works in a crazy manner every day with the desire to do and to be. All these thoughts and desires affect our physical body, energy body and mental body extremely. We feel these blockages in our asana practice and also in our energy body because of the constant change of our energy in our daily lives. During our training programs, you will learn mindfulness, you will turn into the observer of yourself and you will slow your mind. You will use the breath as a bridge between the body and the mind and restore their connection that has been lost. There are two most important keys for your journey; concentration and awareness.

International 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher’s Training

300-Hours International Advanced TTC takes place in different countries and mostly at places like ashrams and monasteries by in 31 days. There is a limited space to give a high-quality education and to give personal attention to each student for deepening their practice. If you are already completed a 200-Hours TTC and if your practice has a solid foundation then you are ready for this training that will transform your practice.

Even though yoga is or everyone, to take the practice to a subtle level and to deepen it is only possible for people with strong minds. In this training, stronger asanas will be practiced for stronger minds. The applicants are expected to follow the ashram rules even if the TTC will not take place in an ashram. The rules are stated below and it is mandatory to follow them.

During the training, you will learn to be aware, to transform into the observer of yourself, to slow and control your mind. While experiencing the existence of prana, we will have deep practices on controlling it. By using the breath as a bridge between the body and the mind; we will strengthen the weakened connection between them. The most important 3 keys for your journey are; concentration, awareness and surrender.

During the training, we will concentrate on the 8 limbs of yoga. Two books that a yoga teacher should know very well; Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and Hatha Yoga Pradipika will be studied thoroughly. More important than these, with deep practices you will discover your true-self. By experiencing the withdrawal of senses we called pratyahara, as a teacher you will learn to reflect your students.

The biggest intent in this training is to isolate the mind from modifications and to stay in the “reality”. During these 32 days, we will practice to make a jump of consciousness to realize what is the “real” one, what is the “infinite” one?

What is Ashram?

The place we call Ashram is the “home” where you return to yourself, where you get out of all the illusions of the social life and the material lifestyle and to get rid off all the distracting things that prevent you from being your true self. According to yogi understanding, social life is a system based on constant brainwashing the person that sometimes leads him/her to a meaningless life. In an ashram, with the inspiration of being in a place created to let you be your true self and to be surrounded by people with awareness, you will have the courage to ask questions like “Who am I? What the purpose of my being? What do I want? Why do I want?” and to work on these. And again here we can find the answers to all these questions on the inside.
Ashram Rules:

The Five Precepts:

1. Refrain from killing or harming any being

2. Refrain from stealing

3. Refrain from sexual misconduct

4. Refrain from lying

5. Refrain from drinking or smoking of any intoxicants in both the campus and guest rooms
